Frankie Say Relax with Olibanum

Frankincense is entwined with myths and rituals and this oil comes from Boswellia Serrata, the oldest of Frankincense varietals. The ancient oil with sweet, woody notes has long been used for spiritual elevation and letting go of the past, helping alleviate repressed emotions and psychological blockages. As a meditation aid, it can ease the breath and ground the spirit. Did we mention it’s also good for the skin?
Common Uses: Frankincense has traditionally been used to help relieve stress-related conditions. The warm, woody resin has also been known for its skin-healing and cell-regenerative properties and is recommended for dry and mature skin types. Add a drop of Frankincense to your moisturizer, and apply to wrinkled skin. Use a few drops in a compress and apply to acne and sores. Or, add a few drops to a diffuser. Its calming, soothing effects are said to help with obsessive behaviours and depression.
