Rosemary, it awakens awareness (Not for chickens)
Out of the darkness and into the light… Rosemary’s fortifying, herby goodness is not just for roasting birds in the oven. This strong, penetrating oil comes from the plant that was sacred to ancient Greeks and Romans, for whom Rosemary symbolized regeneration. Rosemary oil enlivens the mind, restoring clarity and vigour and aiding the memory. It is a wake-up call for the senses, energizing and activating the brain and central nervous system while providing a detoxifying effect on the liver.
Common Uses: Rosemary has traditionally been used for its analgesic properties and has been known to help tired, stiff and overworked muscles. Add 1-2 drops to a carrier oil and massage affected areas. Rosemary is good for the tired and overworked who need a mental boost. Its effects include helping improve alertness and memory, and in some cases has even helped restore hearing, sight and temporarily paralysed limbs. It can help clear headaches and migraines and ease symptoms of gout. Add 5-10 drops to a diffuser and enjoy its vapours. To treat gastrointestinal problems, add a drop to a carrier oil and apply over the stomach area. This is a strong oil, best avoided if you’re pregnant. Keep it away from mucous membranes and sensitive areas like the eyes.
